MeinMMO editor-in-chief Leya Jankowski says goodbye to the MeinMMO podcast in its current form. The feed will be permanently shut down. But the podcast finds a new home and a new beginning.
It is difficult for me to write this, as this project has brought us much joy in the editorial team. Although we were able to reach a few thousand of you with the podcast, it ultimately wasn’t enough to make it profitable for MeinMMO.
For a long time, I discussed with our podcast manager Michael Graf what to do with the podcast. We agree that there is still strong potential here to provide you with exciting stories from the gaming world.
That’s why we decided to give the podcast a new home. You can find out the details in our farewell episode:
As sad as I find it to shut down this feed, I am even more excited about the future. We have decided to continue existing in the GameStar feed. You will hear the details in the embedded podcast.
The beginning features an interview that you could already see here on MeinMMO in video form. Now you can also enjoy it as a pure audio experience at GameStar:
We from MeinMMO will be showing up more often with our colleagues, which is why I recommend following the GameStar feed at this point. From our survey, we know that most of you are already doing that.
We will also focus even more on new video formats to expand our offerings here. More of your feedback that you have given us about the podcast will be incorporated here.
If you miss pure MMORPG formats, I can recommend the private podcast “MMO News” by our MMORPG expert Alexander Leitsch. The podcast is independent of MeinMMO.
With that, we bid farewell to you with this feed and thank you for your loyal listening.
