Although millions of players battle daily for victory in Call of Duty: Warzone, there is criticism of the Battle Royale. One such critique comes from the top streamer on Twitch, Dr Disrespect, who apparently finds Warzone not challenging enough.
What does the Doc want to change? In one of his recent streams, Dr Disrespect revealed what bothers him about Warzone. He specifically lists four aspects of the Battle Royale that he believes need to be removed:
- C4
- Claymores
- Rocket Launchers
- Trucks
Without these items, Warzone would be a “more challenging” game, as he clearly states in the clip:
What is the problem with these items? The Doc does not elaborate on what specifically bothers him about these items. However, they are frequently criticized within the community. Apparently, it is too easy to achieve “cheap” kills that frustrate opponents with them.
Vehicles, in particular, are under scrutiny. His streamer colleague shroud shares the same view and states that vehicles must disappear from Warzone. This discussion is also being held among players.
In an update in April, vehicles were made even stronger initially, which caused a lot of frustration.
Warzone remains successful – despite criticism
Although streamers and players have a lot to criticize about Warzone or even compare it derogatorily and angrily to Fortnite, the game is still booming.

On Twitch, CoD: Modern Warfare (Multiplayer and Warzone combined) is currently in fifth place among the most-watched games in the last seven days, according to sullygnome (as of April 26). However, it cannot surpass the number one spot held by the new shooter hit Valorant.
Dr Disrespect himself is currently in second place among the most-watched streamers in Call of Duty. Only NICKMERCS ranks above him. And despite the criticism, he still seems to be enjoying it: He even mocks some pros he has played with for camping.
