The 23-year-old American Turner “Tfue” Tenney is one of the biggest streamers worldwide on Twitch. He is an experienced and talented shooter player. After a slight victory in Call of Duty: Warzone, he says the game is simply too easy compared to other battle royale games like Apex Legends or Fortnite .
This is Tfue:
- Tfue is the younger brother of a successful YouTuber, whom he has long surpassed. He started his career with videos on Destiny before he began with battle royale shooters like H1Z1, PUBG, and Fortnite, becoming one of the most successful streamers in the world.
- In 2018, Tfue exploded on the Twitch scene because he appeared as an aggressive and extremely strong player in Fortnite. Unlike his rival, Tyler “Ninja” Blevins, Tfue even qualified for the World Championship – and he cussed like crazy. Everything was basically “dogshit”. With that, Tfue also distinguished himself from Ninja, who used to flame in Fortnite and acted kid-friendly.
- At this point, Tfue is already far away from Fortnite. Recently, he has primarily played Apex Legends and CoD Warzone. Tfue has the second largest channel on Twitch when it comes to followers. However, when he streams, only about 15,000 viewers watch him on average, significantly less than during his Fortnite heyday.
Those who are bad at gaming have the most fun with CoD Warzone
This is what Tfue says about CoD Warzone: Tfue had just won a duo round in CoD Warzone when he ended the stream. He told his partner that they are simply “too big” for this easy game.
Speaking to the fans, Tfue said:
“I have come to the conclusion that CoD Warzone is just too damn easy. In fact, Warzone is the easiest battle royale game. If you are bad at video games, you are probably having the most fun playing it.”
Tfue added that Apex Legends is significantly harder. While Fortnite is easy in public games, it is very hard in the professional scene.
In CoD Warzone, Tfue is having such a good time also because he is not encountering any cheaters, as he himself points out in amazement.
Why doesn’t he play Apex Legends then? Tfue currently refuses to play Apex Legends. The server issues are ruining the game for him. He says that until that is resolved, Apex Legends is dead to him.
Tfue relies on his superior aiming and movement
What does Tfue mean by that? Tfue is a truly excellent shooter player, who repeatedly faced his limits in Fortnite because others acted more tactically clever than he did, forcing him into build matches or to play cautiously. That doesn’t suit Tfue.
Tfue is more of a “fast, fast, everything dead” player who relies on his superior aiming and movement. These skills contribute to a spectacular playstyle and 10.6 million followers on Twitch. But they also led to his being hopelessly eliminated at the Fortnite World Championship.
- In Fortnite, the building aspect brings a lot of tactics into the game. In the professional scene, players also need to play tactically, manage their resources and paths, and rotate correctly.
- Teamplay and the synergy of the different heroes are also crucial in Apex Legends.
Apparently, Tfue is also comparing playing in a public lobby in CoD Warzone against ranked games in Apex Legends and Fortnite.
Therefore, it is understandable that a player like Tfue finds CoD Warzone easy in public lobbies, under competitive conditions it would surely look different for him.
Tfue is a special type who grew up with his father in Florida. Dad Tfue holds very little regard for formal education and government:
