The hardcore action RPG Elden Ring challenges players with tough boss battles. However, as confidently as a streamer fought with the boss, he reacted in panic to an otherwise harmless incident in real life. Read here why a streamer suddenly fled the room screaming in panic.
Who is it about? The streamer Charles “MoistCr1TiKal” White Jr. lives in Florida and is actively streaming the popular action RPG Elden Ring. He was just about to beat the boss Commander Niall.
He had already battered the monster quite a bit, and only a final blow was missing. But then something happened that shook the poor streamer to the core.
Tiny insect sends streamer into a panic
What happened? Stoically and composed, the streamer was beating up the boss, nothing could stop him. But then he suddenly began to scream shrill and in panic. He backed away from the screen and eventually stood hardly visible at the edge of the camera angle. What had happened?
Shortly after, the answer came: “Oh no, not now! There is a wasp! Fuck! Not like this, not like this!”
In fact, the annoying insects in Florida seem to be already active, and an early specimen had apparently gained access to the streaming room of MoistCr1TiKal. There, the creature buzzed around and sent the poor streamer into a panic. Apparently, he was afraid of an insect sting.
Nevertheless, he could not give up the apparently secured victory over the boss and despite the massive distraction from the wasp, MoistCr1TiKal was still able to take down the boss with a decisive jump attack. But just before the boss hit the ground lifeless, MoistCr1TiKal had already fled the room, where the insect continued to buzz around.
How did it end? Shortly after, the streamer returned and explained that wasps scare him to death and he usually reacts in panic when the buzzing pests appear.
Fortunately, it ended well and MoistCr1TiKal was not stung by the insect. In the end, the streamer showed humor and even named the clip “Invaded Mid Boss Fight”.
This is a reference to the quirky PvP system in Elden Ring and other “Souls” games. There, other players can rudely gain access to your game and ambush and knock you down.
So much for the unusual invasion of annoying insect creatures during tricky boss fights in Elden Ring. But even without such unusual “hard mode challenges” from real animals, Elden Ring is a hardcore game that demands everything from you.
