The role-playing game Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 was a big hit on Steam in February 2025. The RPG streamer CohhCarnage played it on Twitch and explains what makes it so good.
Which streamer is being referred to? Ben “CohhCarnage” Cassell is a veteran on Twitch and has been streaming there since 2013. The streamer specializes in role-playing games, from the ARPG Path of Exile to classics like Pathfinder and the JRPG Persona 5. His love for role-playing games has even earned the streamer appearances in Cyberpunk 2077 and Baldur’s Gate 3.
According to the analytics site TwitchTracker, CohhCarnage has showcased nearly 1,000 different games in his streams, with data being recorded only since November 2016. Therefore, it is likely that he has played far more games.
In a recent video, he mentions that he has played thousands of games and explains why among all these titles, the role-playing game Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is one of his favorites.
MMO-feeling in singleplayer
What excites him about KCD 2? Cohh describes the game as “a love letter to fans of sandbox adventures.” He had already extensively played and enjoyed the predecessor, but it was still a rather rough experience. With the second part, the studio has now shown what it can really achieve with the necessary resources.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 has everything that made the very good predecessor stand out, but better. It is bigger, bug-free, and has many quality-of-life improvements. Additionally, the streamer praises that the developers have listened to the community and implemented player feedback.
He says he has spent more than 135 hours in the role-playing game, enjoyed every second of it, and still hasn’t seen everything.
Here you can see how the streamer raves:
What exactly does he like? KCD 2 reminds Cohh of an MMORPG: There is so much to do that often you don’t even know what you will do when logging in. You can simply do whatever you feel like at the moment – whether it’s hunting, stealing, or perhaps even focusing on the story. For some players, this abundance of content may be overwhelming, but if you embrace it, it’s “an endless barrel of greatness.”
The streamer also finds the NPCs well done, with some you spend so many hours with that you can really get to know them.
All of this makes Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 a particularly immersive experience for Cohh. It is not only one of the best games he has ever played, but also a great example of what a fantastic entertainment medium video games are in general.
Like many fans, CohhCarnage is already looking forward to the DLCs for KCD 2, which are set to be released in 2025. However, it is still unclear whether there will be a continuation of the role-playing series. “Heinrich” from Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 bids farewell to the role-playing game and a word worries the fans
