Twitch streamer HandOfBlood has just released a new game, and it seems to be well received, as he found it shortly thereafter already among the bestsellers – even in 3 places.
What kind of game did HandOfBlood release? The game in the bestsellers is Deadly Days: Roadtrip, developed by Pixelsplit and published under HandOfBlood’s publisher Sidekick Publishing. It was released on September 22, 2025, for Steam in Early Access and is described on the Steam page as a “bullet hell fever dream with inventory management kick”.
You have to continuously choose your routes on your namesake road trip and can unlock not only a ton of loot but also various characters. You will face huge zombie hordes and manage your items in your backpack to ensure their effects complement each other well, thereby building your perfect builds.
As HandOfBlood shared via x.com, the game quickly reached 1st place on the German bestseller list on Steam and even secured 2 more places. It seems the title is also well received by its players.

In the reviews on Steam and on x.com, players mainly praise the versatility and the game loop, which makes them crave for more quickly. The performance is particularly criticized, as some players seem to have issues with crashes.
Many are excited about HandOfBlood’s ranking and praise the game and its achievement.
