The biggest MMORPG streamer in the world, Asmongold, created a tier list with 33 bosses from Elden Ring during a Twitch stream. He placed seven of these bosses at the highest tier, but feared opponents like Malenia and Margit didn’t make it to the top.
Which bosses narrowly missed the S-tier? The Twitch streamer Asmongold rated 33 “Elden Ring” bosses. In total, he assigned 7 of these 33 opponents to the highest tier, the S-tier.
It is notable that some of the most feared or notorious bosses did not reach the very top and landed in the A-tier, the second highest level.
Some of these notorious opponents in the A-tier are Morgott, Godrick, and Margit. Also, the warrior Malenia did not make it into Asmongold’s S-tier. She is among the hardest bosses to defeat in Elden Ring.
Why isn’t Malenia in the S-tier? For Asmongold, Malenia is primarily defined by her special combo attack: the Waterbird Dance. This is strong and makes the fight difficult. Some players got creative and threw jars to counter Malenia.

The list created by Asmongold covers 33 bosses from the successful title Elden Ring. He assigned the bosses to the tiers S, A, B, C, D, and E. Here, “S” is the highest rating and “E” is the lowest.
What criteria were decisive? Asmongold rated various criteria and especially focused on mechanics that define the bosses or the fights. He deviated from purely difficulty ratings.
For example, a boss was rated poorly due to its immunity to magic, as it can be frustrating for players who are specifically set up for that.
In contrast, he rated Godrick relatively high, even though he found him comparatively easy. In this case, the reasoning was that he is one of the “coolest” bosses in the game.
