The Twitch streamer Asmongold (World of Warcraft) has commented on the new MMORPG set in the world of League of Legends . He believes it has the potential to become really big. Immediately, the head of Riot Games, Marc “Tryndamere” Merrill, is on his case and wants to know more from him.
This is the situation: The Twitch streamer Asmongold reacted to a video: “The World of Riot’s MMO is Already Done” (via youtube): The video revolves around the new MMORPG that Riot Games aims to set in the world of League of Legends.
In the video, YouTuber Necrit introduces the world “Runeterra,” which Riot Games has been developing in the MOBA League of Legends for years. This world is where the LoL MMORPG is supposed to take place.
Necrit explains that his video will surely be seen by people who have no idea about League of Legends but love MMOs and are slowly losing their hair.
Apparently, Necrit expected that Asmongold would react to the video, and he feels a bit caught:
