An American Twitch streamer banned someone in his chat who meant well: the developer of the game that is currently being played.
These are the individuals involved: GuilynSlothbear is an American content creator who streams on Twitch. He enjoys playing story games and, with his 150 Twitch followers, belongs to the smaller streamers on the platform.
The developer is an employee of Deer Dream Studios. They developed the games Dread Weight and Cooking Companions. These are cute anime horror games that tell a story as a visual novel.

Twitch streamer bans developer, immediately apologizes
The developer from Deer Dream Studios wanted to wish the Twitch streamer Guilyn a happy new year and thank him for playing his game, as he posted on X. He also asked him to write a Steam review.
However, Guilyn apparently clicked the wrong button, which resulted in the developer being banned and unable to send further messages.
The developer, however, takes the whole thing with humor. He posts another screenshot showing how he applies to be unbanned. As a reason, he writes: ‘I made the video game, haha’
Afterwards, he updates the situation in a reply to the post, saying: ‘Update: He reversed it and it was great.’
The Twitch streamer himself finds the situation quite embarrassing. He replies to the post: ‘Oh my God, this is SO embarrassing. I am SO glad you stayed until I could reverse it.’
