Fortnite (PC, PS4, iOS & Xbox One) offers Twitch Prime subscribers even more free skins. In addition to the two free outfits, there is also a special pickaxe.
If you have a Prime account with Twitch, you can enjoy various goodies in online games. In Fortnite, there were a while ago two cool skins, a glider, and a back bling for free, if you linked your Twitch Prime account with Fortnite.
But that’s not all, the developers at Epic Games have even more skins for you!
The Twitch Prime Skin Set is complete
So far there have been two outfits in the commando style and appropriate accessories. But one thing was still missing for a complete set: a pickaxe. So you had to settle for other harvesting tools that thematically didn’t quite fit.
But from March 29, 2018, this will come to an end. Because the Fortnite developers are giving all Twitch Prime users another free pickaxe skin. Thus, the Twitch Prime set is finally complete and you no longer have to use replacement harvesting tools.
How do I get the new pickaxe?
If you have already redeemed the previous skins through Fortnite from your Twitch account, that’s no problem. You don’t have to do anything else; the pickaxe will automatically come to your account on March 29.
If you haven’t linked your accounts yet, here’s how to proceed:
- Subscribe to Twitch Prime if you don’t have one yet (trial month is sufficient)
- Link your Twitch account with your Amazon account
- Visit the Fortnite Twitch Prime website, select the button “Do you have Twitch Prime?” and follow the steps
- Visit Twitch.tv and click on the crown at the top right to claim your loot
- Now visit Epic Games through this link and click again “Do you have Twitch Prime?”
- On the Fortnite page, a confirmation should now appear. Then you have secured your free loot.
