At the end of the year, it has almost become a tradition for many content creators to disclose their earnings from YouTube and Twitch. Marcel “MontanaBlack” Eris (35) also showed what he has earned over the course of 2023.
What are these numbers? MontanaBlack revealed in a stream on December 24, 2023, how much he has earned this year from YouTube and Twitch. The streamer also disclosed how much money some of his YouTube channels have generated since their creation.
Over the years, MontanaBlack has earned several million euros just from recordings of his streams. The 35-year-old draws a similar conclusion as his colleague Rohat did shortly before: YouTube is a real “money cheat” and much more lucrative than Twitch.
When MontanaBlack released his very first video on YouTube, he probably never expected that he would one day become a millionaire.

How much did MontanaBlack earn in 2023? Distributed across his YouTube and Twitch channels, MontanaBlack made approximately 4.2 million euros in 2023 from his content alone. This does not include earnings from his shop and his own energy drink.
Additionally, the streamer showed how much his YouTube channels have generated since their inception. Just from the channels “DieCrew” and “Richtiger Kevin”, which mostly upload clips from his streams, a total of 6 million euros has been generated in 7 years, mainly from reactions.

MontanaBlack, who has repeatedly expressed strong criticism of Twitch in 2023, emphasizes how much more rewarding YouTube is: there, one can still earn a lot of money with videos that are several years old. Such a thing is not possible on the streaming platform. YouTube is simply “easy money”.
However, these are not the amounts that actually end up in his pocket, as MontanaBlack points out. After all, a portion goes to YouTube and his management, and 50% taxes are deducted. Moreover, the streamer does not manage his channels himself, so the actual operators also receive a share.
MontanaBlack did not disclose the earnings from his merchandise shop and his energy drink. As the Twitch streamer explained, he is currently in negotiations regarding Gönrgy, and therefore cannot disclose any figures. However, he wants to do so as soon as it is possible for him. Just recently, MontanaBlack hinted at how much money he really earns in a year.
