DrDisrespect is one of the most well-known streamers and is now on YouTube. Now the shooter Escape from Tarkov brings an item from him into the game, but the community reacts cautiously.
Escape from Tarkov is a hardcore shooter that focuses on PvP battles and full realism. The game is so realistic, that you can find real phone numbers on the weapons, which unsettles some players. Otherwise, the shooter offers little explanation and even one bullet can mean death for you.

Because most users immediately recognize the iconic jacket that DrDisrespect always wears in his streams. But the reactions are cautious.

While I agree that the Doc does not “deserve” a streamer item because he has only played on/off, I would rather see others get theirs first. But it is quite clear that this is literally just a color-changed PACA with some minor visual adjustments. I doubt it took a significant amount of time.
One even goes so far as to write: “He doesn’t deserve it. He hardly plays, nor does he understand the game.”
However, some players also point out that this is not about playing or success, but solely about attention. Some users even claim that the developers are bringing this item into the game only to attract new players to the hardcore shooter (via reddit.com):
Anyone who says that other streamers deserve it more is 100% right. But he has not paid attention. It’s all about the money. Doc will play again because of this (most likely) and that will generate new players and money for BSG.
Currently, things don’t seem to be going well for DrDisrespect. Because while YouTube showers many Twitch stars with money, the former Twitch streamer receives little of the YouTube money. And he doesn’t like that at all. At least the star on YouTube has managed to resolve his problems with his gaming PC:
