Trailer for survival MMORPG promises brutal battles between dinosaurs – update brings new attacks, swimming dinosaurs and more

In the survival MMO Path of Titans, we play as dinosaurs fighting for survival. The team at Alderon Games has now released a new update for the game. MeinMMO lists what fresh content has been added with the patch.

What is Path of Titans?

• We play as a customizable dinosaur, who fights against AI opponents and up to 200 other players for survival
• Hunger and thirst also affect the dino
• There are different types of quests such as gathering food or defending a specific area
• The game offers unrestricted crossplay on Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, PS5, PC and Mobile
• The game is still in the development phase

Path of Titans aims to convey a sense of the prehistoric world. It is possible to play as both carnivores and herbivores. With tools that are freely available, players can also create their own experiences.

The development team has now released the Pounce Update. Interested players can now see what new content comes with the patch.

What’s coming with the new update? The current patch mainly features new attacking options for certain dinosaur species. Raptors, for instance, can jump on their opponents, latch onto them, and drive their sharp claws into the flesh of the enemies.

The Sarcosuchus, a crocodile-like dinosaur, will also learn a new attack with the update. The Sarcosuchus Grip allows players to snag their prey with their jaws and drag them into the water where they will drown.

That’s not all: There is a new dinosaur species. The Eurhinosaurus feels at home in the water and hunts other dinosaurs there. It impresses mainly with its speed and has 11 abilities in its repertoire.

Besides that, there are even more innovations like area attacks, quality-of-life improvements, and additional abilities. The team has also worked on graphics, performance, and sound playback.

Although the game is available on all platforms, it is still in an early access phase. On PC, the title is available through its own launcher. The title starts from 25 Euro, and especially loyal fans can even buy an edition for 42 Euro with additional skins.
