These are the new contents of version 1.2 in Honkai: Star Rail
Which new characters are there in version 1.2? The two Stellaron Hunters and 5-star characters Kafka and Blade will be added as playable characters. In addition, Luka will appear as a 4-star character.
What banners are there in version 1.2? The banners are divided into two phases. The first phase will run from the start of the update on July 19, 2023, until August 9, 2023, at 11:59 PM (server time) and will include the following banners:
- “Wandering Soul”: Blade as a 5-star character (Destruction, Wind); Arlan, Natasha, and Sushang as 4-star characters
- “Radiant Anchoring”: 5-star light cone “Unreachable Afterlife“ (Destruction) with Blade; 4-star light cones “A Secret Vow“, “Feeling of Togetherness“ and “Sword Combat“
In the second phase, these banners will be available:
- “Sleepless in the Night”: Kafka as a 5-star character (Nothingness, Lightning); Luka, Sampo, and Serval as 4-star characters
- “Radiant Anchoring”: 5-star light cone “Only Patience“ (Nothingness) with Kafka; 4-star light cone “The Resolve Sparkles Like Sweat Beads“, “The Eyes of the Prey“, “The Birth of the Self“
What events are there in the 1st part of version 1.2? More information is available about these events, which will soon start in the new version of Honkai: Star Rail:
- Gift of Odyssey: Event period from the update to 1.2 until August 29, 2023, 03:59 (server time), register for 7 days to grab 10 special passes
- Stories of the Fantastic: Event period from July 21, 2023, 12:00 to August 7, 2023, 03:59 (server time), with traces of fate and 500 Stellar Jade as rewards
- Fantastic Piggy Banks and Where to Find Them: Event period from July 28, 2023, 12:00 until August 14, 2023, 03:59 (server time), with traces of fate and 500 Stellar Jade as rewards
- Planar Rift: Event period from August 2, 2023, 04:00 until August 9, 2023, 03:59 (server time), with doubled rewards for planar ornaments

- New chapter of the Trailblaze mission
