Tomorrow, on June 21, 2024, the first DLC for Elden Ring will be released. A new trailer now highlights the boss enemies.
The first Elden Ring DLC “Shadow of the Erdtree” will be released tomorrow, June 21, 2024, for PC, Playstation 5, and Xbox Series. Many players are already looking forward to the new content and the new DLC has already received a score of 93.67 from Metacritic.
A trailer now showcases the new boss enemies once again, aiming to excite players for the new content.
What does the trailer show? The trailer focuses on some of the boss enemies that you will encounter in Shadow of the Erdtree. You will witness, in the typically dark atmosphere of Elden Ring, among other things, a giant creature with vine-like limbs and an undead rider ascending on his horse made of black slime. Another enemy will confront you with his powerful flaming sword.
What are the reactions? The reactions under the trailer (via YouTube) clearly show that most players are looking forward to the DLC. “Time to disappear into my cave and stay there for a month to play Elden Ring,” writes the user goodboy-lr2tq in their comment. Many users reply that they feel similarly.
Goodboy-lr2tq also writes that it’s time to tell all acquaintances that they are busy with a very important project.
Players feel unprepared to win, but to cry
While numerous users express their excitement on YouTube, many others also voice their concerns about whether they are even ready for the new boss enemies. “You’re all not ready for this,” believes user indeimaus in their comment. “We are ready to die,” is one reply they receive. Another user agrees: “I am ready to cry.”
Other players express confidence that they will be able to defeat the enemies, but most believe it will indeed be quite a challenge. One user writes: “The moment you realize that the DLC brings back the most unforgettable and toughest bosses from the previous game.”
