How does the quest work? In the quest “Treasure of Daybreak”, you need to fight monsters to obtain a key that will allow you to open a chest and receive a treasure map with a puzzle inside. You should then find and dig up the treasure. For this, you need to go to the large monoliths near the Sandworm Cave at daybreak to pick up the treasure.
Although the quest gives you a puzzle with clues to find the exact location, many players struggle with this task and search for hours for the right spot on the map. We have solved the task for you and will show you where to go.

Solution to the quest “Treasure of Daybreak”
First part: The first part of the task is not too challenging. At the start, you need to defeat “Flame Fighters” to obtain the key to the loot chest. If you give the quest a star, it will show you where the enemies are located.
Second part: Next, you need to open the loot chest in the camp of the “Sand Flame Bandits”. This is located in the tent. Just interact with the chest using the “F” key. From it, you will receive the treasure map along with the associated puzzle.
Third part: You will receive a map with clues. You can retrieve this again in the Codex under “Collection” → “Near Vienta” → “A mysterious copy of a map”. The clues are:
- “A place is marked between the giant monoliths.”
- “True power is granted when night turns to morning!”
This means you need to go to the large monoliths shortly after the game time switches from night to day. You can read the time of day on the minimap or in the bottom right corner when you open the large map.

After that, you will have solved the quest “Treasure of Daybreak” and will receive the transformation “Flame Fighter” as a reward. Additionally, you will gain 33,106 experience points and 45,814 Sollant.
