On October 25, 2024, the operators of Throne and Liberty announced a server maintenance to implement Patch 1.4. We have the official patch notes for you and will keep you updated on the server status of the MMORPG.
What are the plans for the current maintenance? According to playthroneandliberty.com the servers of Throne and Liberty have been offline since 7:30 AM our time, and the maintenance is expected to last six hours. Therefore, the MMORPG is expected to be back online from 1:30 PM. However, the maintenance phases have recently lasted much shorter than announced.
As part of the maintenance, the developers are implementing Update 1.4 of Throne and Liberty on all platforms. If you want to check the server status of Throne and Liberty yourself, you can easily do so. Current updates on the server status can be found either on the official X channel of Throne and Liberty or in the server status section of the official Discord channel.

- Reset times have been changed to Thursday at 8:00 AM CEST (6:00 AM UTC) across all regions. This affects the following:

- Weekly Rewards
- Arena
- Seasonal Event
- Battle Pass

- Item Expiration Dates
Gameplay
- The following allied players will be displayed on the minimap:
- Player’s guild and allied guilds
- Group members
- Allied players with top rank
- The PvP area has been expanded for the following conflict field boss events:
- Morokai, Chernobog, Talus, Aelon the Great, and Adentus
- The timer for reward loot at the conflict boss has been extended. Rewards remain bound to the original owner for 10 minutes and are then available to all others for 1 minute.
- Crystal loot from co-op dungeon bosses and elite monsters is no longer distributed based on contribution among group members. Instead, all group members have the same chance to receive it.
- New profile frame feature added. This can be selected under Mirror Boutique > Profile Settings.
- General goods manufacturers now offer weapon and armor chests. These items were originally craftable by the weapon and armor manufacturers.
- After collecting rewards from an Amitoi expedition, the previous cadre will be selected for the next expedition.
- The following previously restricted cooking ingredients are now available from additional sources. They have been renamed to allow sourcing from more sources.
- Terrorbird meat has been renamed to Poultry
- Desert Wild meat has been renamed to Bland Meat
- Forest Wolf meat has been renamed to Thick Meat
- Black Boar meat has been renamed to Chewy Meat
Dungeons
- Completing a dungeon with the random player search option now provides special rewards when collecting the final boss chest:
- Dimensional Soul Shard Selection Chest: 1 Star
- Players also have a chance for 1x Dimensional Essence: Redemption.
Chat
- A chat window icon has been added, allowing players to open another chat window.
- You can open more than one chat window at a time to view multiple tabs.
- You can resize each chat window by dragging the corners with your mouse.
- The additional windows can be repositioned and pinned.
- A button to lock the chat has been added.
UI
- Now, acquisition information is displayed in the relevant tooltip for:
- Amitoi
- Guardians
- Transformations
- Selecting “Use” for cooking ingredients now shows the recipes that include the item.
- A visual display for abilities that can be charged has been added to the combat bar. When the shortcut/button is held down, the corresponding ability icon fills up.
- The UI positions during character customization have been improved so that UI elements do not obstruct the view of the character.
- The unnecessary third reward line has been removed from the rewards of dynamic co-op events.
Important Bug Fixes
- Fixed a bug where the control keys for entry remained visible all the time.
- Fixed a bug where the final rewards of the adventure codex were not displayed.
- Fixed a bug with controllers where the left stick moved the character while focus was on the content notification.
- Fixed a bug where the friends list temporarily disappeared.
- Fixed a bug where “Show Codex Knowledge” could show incorrect information.
- Fixed a bug where Riftstone encounters with Kowazan and Ahzreil granted more loot than intended.
- Fixed a rare bug that caused the game to crash when certain particle effects were rendered.
- Fixed a bug where players in Japan saw the wrong expiring amount of Luzzent and remaining expiration time.
- Fixed a bug where the privacy settings in-game did not synchronize with the website settings of AG ID, causing user changes not to be applied or the game to not respect the account settings of AG ID.
- A problem was fixed where groups unexpectedly disbanded during content.
Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 (Console Only)
- The behavior of the “Repeat” button in Taedal’s Tower has been improved. Holding Y now opens the “Repeat” window. Pressing Y again will restart the attempt.
- The gamepad user experience in the following sections has been improved:

- The option to toggle aiming on and off has been added in the settings.
- The option button can show/hide the tooltips.
