On September 26, 2024, Throne and Liberty launched in Early Access, followed by the final launch on October 1, 2024. Since then, Amazon Games has been conducting regular maintenance. MeinMMO reveals whether the servers are live and where you can find more info about the server status.
What is the server status of Throne and Liberty on April 3, 2025? On X, there is now a message that the servers are online. The developers warn that some items from the “Dawn Travelers Star Crystal Shop” are currently unavailable.
Regularly, the weekly server maintenance for Throne and Liberty takes place on Thursdays. The current maintenance on April 3, 2025, started at 7:30 AM and was expected to be completed after 3.5 hours, that is, by 11 AM.
Via X, the developers, however, announced that the maintenance will take longer than planned:
We need to extend our maintenance. We currently do not have a new date for the end of the maintenance, but we will inform you as soon as possible once we have more details. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Update from December 5, 2024: Currently, a server maintenance is taking place for Throne and Liberty. The servers are expected to be offline on December 5, 2024, from 07:30 AM to 03:30 PM German time. After the server maintenance, there will be a patch with version 1.10.0, which will add the new melee weapon “Spear” and the rune system to the game. The maintenance is now complete.
Update from November 19, 2024: Regularly, the server maintenance of Throne and Liberty takes place on Thursday mornings. The last maintenance was on November 14, 2024, bringing update 1.7, which ended the Halloween event and unlocked the planning of tax transport. The next maintenance should take place on Thursday, November 21, 2024, and deploy update 1.8.
Update from November 7, 2024: On November 7, 2024, update 1.6.0 for Throne and Liberty will be released. The servers are expected to be offline for about two hours, from 7:30 AM to 9:30 AM (via playthroneandliberty.com). The update includes improvements to stability and backend service. There are no detailed patch notes.
Update from September 27, 2024 – 1:56 PM: Much earlier than announced, the servers of Throne and Liberty are back online! On the official Discord, Sandovall from Amazon Games also mentioned a possible solution for the Xbox problem mentioned below:
- Press the Xbox button on the controller
- Go to Profile & System > Settings > Account
- Select Privacy & Online Safety > Xbox Privacy > View details and customize > Communication & Multiplayer
- Select Join cross-network play and confirm with Allow
Update from September 27, 2024 – 12:00 PM: The servers of Throne and Liberty are still offline, and there has been no update on Discord, X, and the official website indicating that the maintenance can be completed earlier than hoped.
Update from September 27, 2024 – 10:05 AM: The servers of Throne and Liberty have now gone offline with a slight delay for the upcoming maintenance. They are expected to be available again in six hours, that is, from 4:00 PM. Every two hours, you will find an update from us here about the server status.
How did the early access go? It largely depends on whom you ask. A significant number of buyers of the early access packages were able to log in and start playing smoothly on the launch night or had to wait briefly as they were in a quite short queue.
However, there were also many players who could not access the servers at all at first. All MeinMMO editors and authors with early access also faced issues. Some technical problems have now been fixed. Others are still acute.
