Which server has the most players? In Throne and Liberty, there are different regions that are further divided and separated into various servers. Therefore, if your friend plays on a different server than you, you cannot play together. However, it is possible to switch to another server within the same region. However, all transfer requirements must be met.
Until October 17, 2024, server transfers were free, which is why many switched servers wildly back and forth. The moving phase is now over, and players have chosen their preferred servers, with most players in Europe apparently landing on the early access server Lichtbringer. What is the current status? The big PvP event around Castle Felswacht led to an increase in created characters on the servers. On the early access server Lichtbringer, there are now around 48,700 characters after the introduction of the event – an increase of about 16,100. However, this number does not reflect the actual number of players.
Overall, Throne and Liberty is not doing very well, as within two months, the game lost more than 70 percent of its active Steam player base. On December 5, a new weapon is set to be integrated into the game, which could potentially lead to an increase in player numbers.

Throne and Liberty Server Population
A user on Reddit shared a way for the community to display the current server population. Another user explained via Reddit.com that the creator of the website had created something similar for New World and that the display was always very accurate. Nevertheless, you should view the numbers with some caution without official confirmation from the developers.
In Throne and Liberty, there are the following regions:
- Europe
- Asia (NC)
- West America
- East America
- South America
- Japan, Oceania
Europe comprises 47 servers, including nine early access servers and one exclusive server just for PlayStation players.
You can check the server population at any time via tldb.info. The most popular server in Europe seems to be the early access server Lichtbringer. Currently, about 32,600 players are playing on it, with the numbers constantly changing slightly when players perform a server transfer.
The server with the fewest people in Europe right now is the launch server Junath with around 7,200 players. On the exclusive PlayStation server Paola, there are still about 18,000 players. In direct comparison, the population in Europe is well set up, and Lichtbringer is among the three most populated servers.
Will there be so many players in Europe? Currently, things look quite good, but this may change in the coming weeks. The authorities at Amazon recently shared the loot rules for world bosses, and the players do not seem very satisfied with this. Especially tanks and healers feel disadvantaged by the loot rules.
A glimmer of hope could be the upcoming PvP event around Castle Felswacht, where PvP fans will get their money’s worth. This is a large guild battle where players fight for the conquest of the castle.
