The developers of Throne and Liberty fulfill a frequently expressed wish from the community and plan a server merge. MeinMMO reveals what this looks like in detail.
What is Amazon Games planning? After many players had wished for server merges for Throne and Liberty in the past weeks, the announcement followed during the latest episode of “Tico Talks”: The publisher Amazon Games has heard the demand and is delivering!
The planned server merge for the MMORPG will occur in three phases:
- On February 6, 2025, the auction houses will be merged
- Between February 13 and 27, 2025, there will be a special transfer period
- On February 27, 2025, the actual server merge will take place
We will reveal what is currently known about the individual phases and which new EU servers will be created through the merge.

With the server merge, Amazon Games will create a sleek eleven new realms from the previous 46 EU servers. Here are the names and which servers serve as the basis.
- Destiny (created from Lightbringer and Zenith)
- Cascade (Talus and Wraith)
- Rebellion (Ember and Ezekiel)
- Obsidian (Adriana and Excavator)
- Arcane (Benny and Torrent)
- Conviction (Bellandir, Conquest and Kazar)
- Zephyr (Cornelius, Penance and Starfall)
- Talon (Arnette, Basilisk, Elleia, Rumi and Vortex)
- Fortune (Arkhan, Justice, Karchars, Lequirus, Shaderock, Soiri and Titanreach)
- Judgment (Abundance, Anvy, Brent, Destruction, Mallok, Pakilo, Porfos, Windwhisper)
- Emerald (Domoore, Junatz, Leonardas, Mankipak, Oliver, Payton, Stallof, Talem, Vanfeld, Zarek)
Keep in mind (see Phase 2): Between February 13 and 27, 2025, Amazon Games is offering one free server transfer per character. Here is the list of merges for all regions:
Phase 1: Merge of the auction house
On February 6, 2025, the regional auction houses of the early access and launch servers will be merged. All EU players will then use a single, combined auction house to buy or list items. With the merge, your favorites and the price history of the auction houses will be reset.
Exception: Platform-specific servers for consoles will still have a separate auction house.
Phase 2: Open transfer period
Between February 13 and 27, 2025, Amazon Games will offer a free server transfer per character. There will be no further restrictions on the transfer (aside from the fact that you cannot transfer PC characters to platform-specific servers for consoles).
Characters that have not found a new home by February 27, 2025 will automatically be transferred to one of the new servers at the end of the transfer period. Afterwards, these will be subject to the usual transfer cooldown of 30 days.
Registration rewards and special bonuses
During the transfer period, all characters on all servers will receive:
- Sollant bonus: 20% more Sollant from monster hunting.
- Mastery bonus: 50% more mastery experience from all sources.
- Special registration rewards: You can secure up to 14 rewards by logging in every day from February 13 to 27.
The rewards include an Amtoi, 100 selection chests: runestone category, 2 dimensional essences, 30 soul shard selection chests: 2 stars, and much more. Here is the complete list:
Phase 3: Server merge
On February 27, 2025, at 21:00 our time, the actual server merge will take place. All untransferred characters will be transferred and the old servers will be deleted. Expect a long maintenance phase.
During the merge, the leaderboards, chat history, and blocks will be reset. A date for the next castle siege will be scheduled in the coming week. The guild with the highest guild rank before the siege will take over the defense.
What does my character keep and what will be reset?
The majority of character-specific items will be carried over to your new server. Here are the details:
Character Information
- The following will be retained:
- Character name and growth information
- Current information on combat/growth pass
- Character possession information (guardians, transformations, Amitoi, equipment, lithography books, etc.)
- Progress information (codices, Taedal’s Tower, Portal of Infinity, lawless zone, etc.)
- Access points to content (Abyss Contract tokens, Dimension Contract tokens I/II, Resistance Contracts, Lawless Zone time, etc.)
- Purchase limit per character in the shop
- All currencies, including Luzent
- Personal relationships (friends, feuds, interests, blocks)
Items in Character Possession
- The following will be retained:
- Equipped items and items in inventory/storage
- Equipped/stored runes
- Mail and unclaimed items in the mailbox
- Items in the storage chest
- Costumes, weapon appearances, and emotes in the mirror boutique
Guild Information
- The following will be retained:
- Guild name, level, and members
- Guild ERF and contract history
- Guild kill records and relationship/distribution/management records
- The following will be reset:
- Reputation of guild members over the last 7 days
Placement Information
- The following will be reset:
- Activity/kill rank score
- Guild rank score
- Guild level will be retained, but the rankings will be recalculated based on the newly collected activity points of the guild/guild members.
Auction House
- The following will be retained:
- Items registered in the auction house on the existing server will be transferred to the new server.
- Sold and unsold items
- The following will be reset:
- Market prices
- Information on favorite items
Server Environment
- The following will be reset:
- Guilds in possession of blessing stones/factions stones
- Castle legion
- Luzent/Sollant taxes from the old servers will be aggregated and credited to the castle on the new server.
- Growth ranks will be recalculated with the data from the target servers on the merged server.
Chat History
- The following will be reset:
- All chats, including characters on the merged servers
- Block history
- Character profile unchecked
- If you manually select a transferred character after the merge or log in to the game without having selected one, your profile will be automatically selected.
In-Game Chat
- The following will be reset:
- All chats that include characters on the merged servers will be reset.
- Block history
Other
- The following will be retained:
- Information about personal pin
- Crafting favorites
- Quick selection slots and game settings
