Weapon Mastery Points: In Throne and Liberty, there are active and passive skills with which you can equip yourself. Additionally, there is Weapon Mastery, which consists of further passive values and bonuses that work in the background to give you various status effects.
You level up Weapon Mastery best by defeating monsters in open-world dungeons. However, there are other ways to earn points for Weapon Mastery. Additionally, you can reset them at any time for a certain amount of Sollant. MeinMMO has all the details for you.

Throne and Liberty: Weapon Mastery
What is Weapon Mastery? Weapon Mastery is a hidden skill tree that allows you to unlock additional passive effects for your weapons. Each weapon has three paths that can be leveled up. Each path offers nine passive effects with different enhancements, such as more hit points, increased healing, or additional damage.
Currently, Weapon Mastery has a maximum level of 16, which means you cannot level all paths equally high. Therefore, you have to decide which path you want to complete and which one you only want to start. Depending on class and playstyle, this can vary greatly and differs with each build.
To access the overview of Weapon Mastery, you need to pay attention to the following:
- Step 1: Open the menu
- Step 2: Go to abilities
- Step 3: Click on the bar of the respective Weapon Mastery located between the active and passive abilities
Leveling Weapon Mastery
In the Weapon Mastery menu, you can see in the upper right corner of the screen how many mastery points you currently have available for distribution. With these points, you can upgrade the individual effects.
There are various ways to collect points for Weapon Mastery in Throne and Liberty. We will introduce you to all methods and explain what to consider.
Open-World Dungeons
Open-world dungeons are an effective way to collect Weapon Mastery points. Equip the two weapons you want to level up and fight the monsters in the dungeon. You not only earn many useful items, but also level up your mastery.
However, at night, open-world dungeons turn into PvP zones, so be aware of the current time of day if you don’t want to be eliminated by other players. Conflict zones are indicated by two small crossed red swords on the dungeon symbol on the map. Additionally, you can read the current time of day in the game at the bottom right of the map.
Warning: The active weapon receives double the points compared to your passive weapon. So keep an eye on which weapon you have in the first slot.
Additionally, you only earn items and points if you have Abyssal Contract Marks. If these are empty, you will not receive rewards or experience points.
Daily Tasks
In the daily tasks that you can accept from “contract managers” in nearly every town, you can also receive training dew as a reward. After completing the missions, the loot is transferred to your inventory, including the training dew. Using this will increase the mastery of the currently equipped weapon.
If you have not equipped a weapon or have reached the maximum level of Weapon Mastery (currently level 16) for this weapon, you cannot use the training dew.
Warning: The training dew only lasts 24 hours in your bag and then disappears. So it’s best to use it right after receiving it.
Co-op Dungeons
In co-op dungeons, you also receive training dew as a reward after successfully opening the boss chest. However, to open it, you need to spend Dimensions Contract Marks. If you run out of these, you will have no chance of getting the contents of the chest.
Note: Currently, it is advisable to use the random co-op dungeon search, as you receive an extra reward when opening the boss chest there. However, in the random search, you can only take one friend with you.
Resetting Weapon Mastery
You can reset your Weapon Mastery at any time if you prefer to level a different path. To do this, hover over the last passive of the respective mastery path, and a small arrow will appear. If you click on it, you will then be asked if you want to deactivate the selected effect. This will cost you some Sollant.
If you want to undo an entire path, you need to deactivate each individual passive and pay Sollant each time for it. So it is possible at any time, but it will cost you a high sum of Sollant. Therefore, think carefully in advance about which effects you need and which path you want to improve accordingly.
