In Throne and Liberty there is the currency Dimensions Contract Marks, which is displayed in the upper right corner of your screen. But how can you obtain them and what should you spend them on? MeinMMO has all the answers for you.
What are Dimensions Contract Marks and how do I get them? You need Dimensions Contract Marks to open the boss chests in coop dungeons. If you don’t have any marks, you can enter and compete in the coop dungeon, but you are not allowed to open the chest at the end.
You automatically receive Dimensions Contract Marks daily. Unfortunately, you cannot collect an infinite number of marks. There is a maximum limit, and everything collected beyond that is wasted.

What are Dimensions Contract Marks?
Dimensions Contract Marks are a currency in Throne and Liberty. They are always displayed in the upper right corner of your screen. When you hover your mouse over them, you’ll see how many you can save up. The maximum limit is 4,500 Dimensions Contract Marks. Everything you gain beyond that is wasted. Therefore, you should spend your marks as you approach the maximum of 4,500.
However, at the start of the game, stay close to the maximum capacity and save your Dimensions Contract Marks until level 50 to redeem them in the max-level coop dungeons. These higher-level dungeons provide you with better rewards.
If you spend your marks immediately, you will be able to open fewer high-level dungeon chests after reaching level 50. By saving the marks, you’ll benefit more in the long run.
Receiving Dimensions Contract Marks
You receive Dimensions Contract Marks for doing nothing. You are simply credited with the marks daily and don’t even have to log in for it. Thus, it is very easy to obtain the Dimensions Contract Marks. The capacity and the amount you receive per day varies with your level:
- Level 20 to 29: 360 daily marks with a maximum capacity of 1,800 marks
- Level 30 to 39: 660 daily marks with a maximum capacity of 3,300 marks
- Level 40 to 49: 780 daily marks with a maximum capacity of 3,900 marks
- From level 50: 900 daily marks with a maximum capacity of 4,500 marks
Additionally, marks can be looted from the pirate treasure on the island of Saurodoma. However, it only appears at night when there is a conflict zone on the island and PvP is activated. It is extremely difficult to access the treasure as strong PvP guilds guard it.
Spending Dimensions Contract Marks
If you go to the menu and select the coop dungeons, you will see several instances with different levels. Depending on the level, you need a different number of Dimensions Contract Marks to open the boss chest at the end of the dungeon:
- Level 20 dungeon Phantom Abyss: 120 Dimensions Contract Marks
- Level 30 dungeon Roaring Temple: 220 Dimensions Contract Marks
- Level 40 dungeon Cave of Despair: 260 Dimensions Contract Marks
- Level 50 dungeon Death Abyss: 300 Dimensions Contract Marks
- Level 50 dungeon Cursed Wasteland: 300 Dimensions Contract Marks
- Level 50 dungeon Temple of Butchery: 300 Dimensions Contract Marks
- Level 50 dungeon Butcher’s Gorge: 300 Dimensions Contract Marks
- Level 50 dungeon Island of the Tyrant: 300 Dimensions Contract Marks
- Level 50 dungeon Cave of Destruction: 300 Dimensions Contract Marks
Depending on which coop dungeon you complete, you will receive different rewards for your Dimensions Contract Marks at the end.
Random Dungeon for Extra Rewards
Since the 1.4 update, a random matchmaking has been introduced in Throne and Liberty. When you click on the group search, you can select Random
. You then need to specify your role and provide a combat power of 1,600 to participate.
When you start the group search, a random level 50 dungeon will be selected for you. If you participate and then open the boss chest for 300 Dimensions Contract Marks, you will not only receive the contents of the normal boss chest but also an extra chest. This is the Random Player Search Rewards: 1 Star Chest. This contains a guaranteed reward:
- A Dimensional Soul Fragment Selection Chest, where you can choose a soul fragment.
And you have a seven percent chance to draw the following reward from the chest:
- Dimensional Essence: Redemption
The essence has a total value of 60 soul fragments and is thus the jackpot if you are lucky enough to get it. With the essence, you can have the dungeon weapons crafted at the NPCs in Castle Rockwatch, which can also drop from the boss chests.
In the random search, there is even a group search effect of:
- 10 percent increased maximum health
- 10 percent increased damage dealt
Thus, it is currently best to spend your Dimensions Contract Marks in the random search.
