Adentus is a boss from Throne and Liberty. You will find him not only in the open world but also as a guild boss, making your life difficult. MeinMMO shows you how to defeat him.
Where can you find Adentus and what can he do? Adentus is a level 50 open-world boss and is located in the northwest on the world map at the waypoint of the Ruins of Turayne. To reach him, you can use the stairs or the grappling hook, and then you will arrive at his arena.

AoE Attack
One of his attacks to watch out for is his AoE attack. If a player who is not a melee fighter has drawn Adentus’s aggro, this attack will be triggered. Therefore, it is advisable for a tank to always try to keep Adentus’s attention on them. If they fail to do so, the boss will strike the ground with the tip of his hammer, followed by a large AoE attack that deals significant damage and stuns the players.
Cone Attack
When Adentus shouts: “Overturn!”, and strikes the ground with his hammer, three lines will appear on the ground, which you must dodge, as this is followed by a cone-shaped attack. He strikes the ground and sends three waves of rocks into the marked area. He repeats this three times in three different directions. If you stand in the lines, you will be caught and held by the attack.
Spike Circles
When the boss throws his hammer into the air, catches it, and then strikes the ground, several circles will form throughout the arena. Sharp spikes will come out of these circles, which can deal significant damage to you. Make sure to avoid these circles and steer clear of them as quickly as possible.
Pull Attack – Draw In
When Adentus shouts: “This will be your grave!”, an AoE attack follows that pulls all players towards him. However, this attack is his pull attack, meaning you can easily evade the attack by blocking.
For a perfect block, wait until the large purple circle gets smaller and touches the inner purple circle, then press the button to block. If you achieve the perfect block, you can even attack with an extra ability on the same button afterwards.
Adentus Loot
If you defeat Adentus in the open world, you will receive the boss chest of the conquest reward as a guaranteed reward, with a chance for good rewards. However, if you get particularly lucky with the open-world or guild boss, you can receive one of the following items:
