Chernobog
The golden-scaled basilisk Chernobog awaits in the area “abandoned stone mason town”. In the desert, he hides beneath the ground until his appearance. To greet, he immediately throws all players who have made themselves comfortable on him into the air.
The basilisk continues this during the fight. Every time he digs into the sand and pops up at another location, he throws the players who were standing there into the air.
The boss fight has a pleasant length and is not overly interrupted despite the phases when the boss submerges, making it not annoying.
The normal attacks of the field boss poison the players. However, the damage from the debuff is low and keeps the healers busy without causing them to break a sweat. The boss is one of the entry-level bosses, so his strength has decreased significantly, but the fight is still enjoyable.
Grand Aelon
Grand Aelon is an old and powerful tree. The field boss is located east of the Reinlight Tower right at the sanctuary of Aelon. The forest guardian is the field boss who can take the most damage in Throne and Liberty. Accordingly, the fight against him lasts quite a long time.
His mechanics are relatively easy to learn; however, the boss fight is creatively designed and requires some teamwork to get through the fight without problems.
The wide-range attack of Grand Aelon is easy to block but affects all players involved in the boss fight. Another attack of the field boss involves thorns that spread from the boss to the end of the battle area.
However, one mechanic makes the boss particularly interesting: the thorn prisons. During the fight, players often end up in the boss’s thorn prisons and must be freed by allied players. If other players take too long, it’s over for the captives.
Players who are about to be imprisoned have a green area beneath them; all players standing in this area will also end up in prison. So watch out not to run into your teammates.
The boss drops valuable and important items especially for tanks, which is why many players gather to defeat him. However, if the boss fight has fewer players, it is particularly fun.
