Kowazan scares you

The boss Kowazan has two forms and both are equally annoying for players. Anyone who plays with the sound on will probably dream of his phrase ‘Are you the leader?’ after the boss fight.

The boss distributes poisons to the group that slowly but surely cost health points. As long as there are enough healers present, this mechanic is not so bad. It becomes particularly annoying when the boss scares the group.

One of Kowazan’s abilities is to scare the entire group. Then all players run away from the boss like a herd of sheep and cannot move for about 5 seconds. The boss essentially imposes a “game pause,” just like the MMORPG frequently demands in the chat.

While this moment may seem funny the first time, it becomes annoying from the second attempt and secures a place on our list solely because of this ability that simply forbids play.

Minezerok requires lightning-fast action

The boss Minezerok is located in the Shadow Crypt and has a large area all to himself. He needs it too, because his mechanics continuously eliminate players without them really being able to do anything about it.

Minezerok selects some players and separates their souls from their bodies. Players around them must stun the souls and prevent them from reaching the boss. If your teammates ignore the mechanic, the soulless bodies simply die. Following that mechanic, there is immediately another attack aimed at the furthest player.

The boss also tests whether you have been paying attention in the tutorial, by pulling you to him first and then giving you one second to pull your character to a hook. If you do not succeed in time, you will be swept out of the boss area by a tsunami and will be done for.

Because two abilities that result in instant defeats are not enough, Minezerok has a third one. Here the boss makes an attack on the tank that deals a lot of damage within a sector of about 30°. If healers or damage dealers are behind the tank, they are usually instantly defeated.
