Throne and Liberty was originally called Lineage Eternal and was supposed to build on the great success of NCSoft’s game series. In 2017, the MMORPG, which was almost finished, was completely overhauled and given the temporary name Project TL. The MMORPG then switched to Unreal Engine 4, all mobile content was removed, and it is set to be released for PC and consoles. The game is supposed to offer a seamless, open world that you can explore vertically. It also includes epic boss battles and sieges.
