In Destiny 2, numerous players and experts rave about the legendary hand cannon “Bube Königin König 3” in PvE. We explain which rolls are the best, what makes them strong, and how you can get this shooter.
This weapon is about: The legendary hand cannon “Bube Königin König 3” was already in year 1 of Destiny 2. However, it was brought back with the Season 9 by Bungie – and with Random Rolls and a slot for the current mods.
It belongs to the popular family of 150 hand cannons (150 RPM) with a lightweight body, deals Arc damage, and is carried in the energy slot.
What makes this hand cannon so special in PvE?
In short: Many experts praise “Bube Königin König 3” as one of the best, if not the best legendary hand cannon for PvE, among other reasons:
- The weapon belongs to the currently strongest and most popular archetype of hand cannons.
- It can roll with some of the best perks in the game – it can also drop with perk combinations that you won’t find on any other hand cannon.
- It can be farmed easily.
- It has relatively few possible perks per slot. So it’s comparatively easy to get a good or even a God Roll.
- The weapon is carried in the energy slot, leaving the kinetic slot available for other strong meta build options like the exotic sniper Izanagi’s Burden.
- The biggest direct competition, “Entfachte Orchidee”, belongs to the slightly weaker 140 archetype and is much harder to farm.
By the way, even in PvP, “Bube Königin König 3” reportedly performs well according to many players.
These rolls you should aim for with “Bube Königin König 3”: The well-known Destiny 2 YouTuber and expert Ehroar from the Redeem clan recommends 4 strong perk combinations for this weapon, all of which he considers God Rolls.
There are numerous other strong perk combos for this weapon (for example with Surround), but he personally considers these 4 to be the strongest. Thus, in his opinion, “Bube Königin König 3” is currently the best legendary hand cannon in PvE.
- 1.Roll: Surplus + Dragonfly
- 2.Roll: Demolitionist + Dragonfly
- 3.Roll: Demolitionist + Rampage
- 4.Roll: Demolitionist + Swashbuckler
The advantages of these 4 rolls: With these rolls, you will almost never have to reload (even if you have less ammunition in reserves) or will have your grenade ready in just a few moments – allowing you to excellently take out smaller enemies and whole groups of foes.
With Surplus, kills partially refill the magazine from reserves. Many enemies can already be killed with just one shot, which triggers the perk almost with every shot.
In combination with Dragonfly, the effect of Surplus becomes even stronger. Because with Dragonfly, precision kills trigger an elemental explosion that usually takes out several additional enemies if they are nearby. These kills also trigger Surplus (even multiple times) and refill the magazine from reserves. Reloading thus becomes a thing of the past – ideal for add-clearing.
Demolitionist, which grants grenade energy on kills, can also synergize with Dragonfly, benefiting from the additional explosive kills. So after just a few precision kills in combat against enemy groups, you will have your grenade ready again.
If you are dealing with slightly stronger enemies and need more damage to achieve consistent one-shot kills, then the combination of Demolitionist and Rampage or Swashbuckler comes into play. Both perks increase your damage – Rampage for a while after each kill (up to 3 stacks) and Swashbuckler temporarily after melee kills or kills with the weapon itself. This then increases your damage output, making one-shot kills easier, which in turn quickly reloads your grenade thanks to Demolitionist.
With appropriate Rampage or Dragonfly specification mods, you should further amplify the effects of these synergies through the weapon’s mod slot. This way, “Bube Königin König 3” can be improved even further.
By the way: Want a good shotgun? Then farm this weapon now

This is how you get the “Bube Königin König 3”: One thing in advance: Consider that this is a seasonal weapon that will likely disappear at the end of Season 9. If you want to get it or are still hunting certain rolls, you should do so by March 9.
If you want to farm the weapon, you need the obelisk on Nessus. You will find it right at the spawn point in the area Exodus Black. Once you have unlocked this obelisk, you will still need to upgrade it further until the corresponding time-lost weapon bounty is unlocked for you. After that, you can comfortably farm the “Bube Königin König 3” – which should soon become even easier.
