A veteran was allowed to play the new Path of Exile 2 at an event in Los Angeles and shows in a video what the game looks like without any filters.
Where does the gameplay come from? The “Path of Exile” veteran and content creator nugiyen was allowed to play the new Path of Exile 2 at an event in Los Angeles. Surprisingly, he later uploaded his two-and-a-half-hour gameplay on YouTube. It features the gameplay from character selection to the end of Act 2, including boss fights.
The content creator, from whom the video comes, explains at the beginning of the gameplay that he had to cut out some small things, including the skill tree. We also noticed that the “towns” were not shown, which could be an indication of what is still being worked on.

The fine differences make the game look good
What stands out in comparison to the first part? Compared to Path of Exile, everything looks a bit prettier, primarily. The improved animations and skill effects also give the game a more modern feel. The predecessor is already old, says the head of Path of Exile.
Another new feature is the tutorial, which takes players by the hand more at the beginning and explains the basics. While this was already present in the predecessor, it has been further polished and expanded for Path of Exile 2.
Otherwise, the second part primarily maintains the same style as the predecessor, which will likely please many players. They did not orient themselves too much towards Diablo 4 or Last Epoch, but relied on their own successful formula.

The gameplay shows how Path of Exile 2 will be and convinces
How is the gameplay received? Fans of Path of Exile 2 are excited about the hours of raw material. Under the video from nugiyen, many people express their anticipation for the game. Some even go a step further. @destroyermaker writes under the gameplay: “This game will take over my life.”
Also, @Aubee89 is excited about Path of Exile 2, he writes: “As someone who has played PoE on and off for over a decade, I must say, this looks incredible. I can’t wait.”
The gameplay of the game and the prettier graphics compared to the predecessor seem to be well received.
