With Greymoor, the fourth expansion of the MMORPG The Elder Scrolls Online was released. In the latest chapter, players journey to the north to Skyrim, which is extremely popular among fans of the franchise. In ESO, you explore the western part of Skyrim.
The dark main story revolves around an evil vampire lord who is sleeping in the depths of Skyrim. With him, many dangerous monsters awaken and threaten to overrun all of Tamriel. The events take place about 500 years before The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.
Greymoor features a standalone story and new players do not need to have played previous addons, but can jump directly into Greymoor. The cool setting and dark story have brought ESO’s new addon to place 5 with 5.84 % among MeinMMO users.
Place 4: Destiny 2: Beyond Light

It’s time: The darkness is here and directly consumes the planets Io, Titan, Mercury, and Mars. In Beyond Light, the Destiny 2 story leads the Guardians to Europa, one of Jupiter’s moons. There, you must stop the power-hungry Fallen Eramis by using her own dark power against her.
For the first time since the release of the Destiny series, Beyond Light also introduced a completely new element: Stasis. Instead of fearing and fighting against the darkness, you master it. Stasis will be expanded in the future with new aspects and fragments.
In December 2020, the large update for Destiny 2 for the new next-gen consoles PS5 and Xbox Series X was also released, allowing players faster loading times, more FPS, and better resolution. Due to the improvements, Destiny 2: Beyond Light climbed to 4th place in our survey with 7.31 %.
Place 3: CoD Warzone

In March 2020, Call of Duty Warzone was released as a standalone Free2Play title that managed to assert itself in the battle royale market.
What makes Warzone particularly special is the Gulag. If a player is shot down on the battlefield, they do not immediately exit the game but get a second chance in the Gulag. There, they can engage in a 1-vs-1 match against another player and possibly make a comeback.
In December, Warzone merged with the new CoD game Cold War and received the new map Rebirth Island. In our survey, the shooter landed in 3rd place with 11.65 % of the votes.
Place 2: Genshin Impact

True to its name, Genshin Impact exploded upon release like a bomb. In this colorful free anime action RPG, you play as one of the two twins, Aether or Lumine, who are stranded in the world of Teyvat.
In search of their respective sibling, players embark on a journey through the world, meeting its inhabitants, making new friends, and creating new enemies. The exciting story is told in chapters and continuously expanded.
The fun combat system of Genshin Impact, which revolves around elemental combos, is supported by a colorful and diverse roster of playable characters. Genshin Impact regularly receives new events, updates, and characters, as well as weapons that you can draw through the gacha system. The popularity of the free game propelled it to 2nd place in our survey with 16.64 % of the votes.
Place 1: WoW Shadowlands

With 26.63% of the votes, the Shadowlands expansion of World of Warcraft secured 1st place in our survey. When Sylvanas defeated the Lich King and destroyed the Helm of Domination, the veil separating Azeroth from the Shadowlands was torn. And on November 24, players could finally enter the realm of the dead in WoW.
While Azeroth is now overrun by the Scourge, the Shadowlands have their own problems that players must face. There, they can join one of the 4 covenants. This is one of the new systems that came to WoW with Shadowlands, offering you special abilities, cosmetic rewards, and other advantages.
The anticipation for the addon was quite high among MeinMMO users, and even after Shadowlands was released, many of you were satisfied with it. Therefore, it is not surprising that it also dominated this survey.
