C.A.M.P.s give players in Fallout 76 the opportunity to build their own home. With many cosmetic items and various building forms, countless variations are even possible. Some players create very quirky houses from this.
The building system in Fallout 76 has inspired many players to get creative. With their own C.A.M.P., crafting stations such as the Power Armor Station can be easily accessed, allowing for food cultivation or resource production.
Some players have even made their C.A.M.P.s available to the public, helping new players get started or offering a restaurant for role-players. Others simply build strange things…
The Pig House in Fallout 76
It all started when a player discovered how to stack foundations. This opened up completely new possibilities for players to build houses.
One player decided to build his house in the shape of a piggy bank. The pig consists mainly of stacked foundations and looks like a giant concrete block on two stubby legs.
The details from the outside are quite imaginative. Neon tubes serve as eyes, and dartboards form its snout, while the ears are made of decontamination arches, for which a significant amount of the rare flux was likely required.
The player even took care of the back side. A curly tail made of cables adorns the piggy’s behind.
In Response to the Pig: The Duck
Another player was inspired by the pig house and even saw the post as a challenge. After the pig on reddit received a lot of praise, another player quickly built a duck – fitting his real-life name “Ducky.”
The duck turned out to be even more creative than the piggy bank. From various roofs, the player recreated the rounded shapes of a duck’s body. The beak is made from a ramp, and the face from a roll-up door.
Wood constructions serve as wings. The player even took care of the delicate legs by building the house on just two foundations with two metal stairs.
In Honor of the Mothman
Another player took inspiration from the current event in Fallout 76. At the moment, it is the “Mothman season,” during which encounters with the Mothman are supposed to be more likely. As another player has already noted, aluminum hats have been quite good for this.
For the current event, some items are available for purchase in the Atom Shop, the in-game store of Fallout 76, related to the Mothman. These include skins for the Power Armor, posters, and a large Mothman statue.
From the new items, the player then built a massive Mothman temple that resembles an Inca pyramid. Countless steps lead to the top of the temple, where a small shrine with a Mothman statue waits for worshippers.
