In Crimson Desert there is an axe that possesses 99,999 attack power. Where this weapon strikes, no grass grows anymore. Unfortunately, the apocalyptic peacemaker has a significant drawback.
What kind of weapon is this? The “Axe of the Apocalypse” (in German probably: die Axt der Apokalypse) is according to Crimson Desert actually not a weapon, but a treasure, or rather a key item. It does not look particularly spectacular, comes almost without stats, and you cannot sell it to a vendor.
However, what the axe excels at is its unique attack value. It is at 99,999 and is likely more than 99,900 points higher than the offensive strength of your current weapon. The weapon was found by journalist Blaine Smith, who introduced it on X a few days ago.
In his post, Smith explains that he has not yet tried out his find in practice. The axe only has a durability of 1 and cannot be repaired. The first blow must therefore hit, as there is no second attempt afterwards.
Stealth axe suddenly appears in inventory
Where can you find the axe? That is a good question, to which there is currently no exact answer. Blaine Smith explains in subsequent posts that he had the weapon lying around in his inventory at some point. It does not appear in the quest rewards in the journal. He therefore believes that he must have found it while exploring Hernand or Pailune.
Unfortunately, the various databases for Crimson Desert like crimsondesert.gg also do not provide a location for the item. At the end of last week, Smith had his followers vote on X on what he should do with the axe. The most votes were for the option: “Swing it against a big, evil boss.”
Several hours ago, Blaine Smith then explained on X that he was having major problems with a boss named Ator, which is why both the “Axe of the Apocalypse” and the “Death Bee-Mace” were used. In the end, however, it was the mix of “slurping soup” (for healing) and “hiding behind columns” that supposedly led to success.
