In Borderlands 3, the new patch has gone live. Along with Maliwan Takedown and Mayhem 4, the update also brought a lot of other improvements – and the community is thrilled.
This is the new patch: At the forefront of the largest patch to date is the Maliwan Takedown raid. The challenging challenge for four-player groups at level 50 represents new endgame content like never seen before.
Additionally, there is the new Mayhem 4 mode, which also adds a new, difficult flavor to the game. There were also various fixes and improvements that are very well received.
Borderlands 3 patch excites community – even the menu is great
Two major changes in gameplay: Two of the most important changes in the patch are the long-awaited expanded bank space and the “Dedicated Loot Drops”.
“This update is great, but the bank space is just the best. Finally, we can keep all our beautiful loot – six times as much space as before,” says reddit user “KnownUser7353“.
The new update sparked humor in the community: “We should all thank the person who will be happier than anyone else about the specific loot. Graveward,” suggests user “Anxious_Creature“. Graveward is an extremely popular boss when it comes to finding legendary weapons. This may now be a bit more spread out.
The patch also gets this right: Aside from these changes, there are many more improvements. FL4K, Zane, and Moze have all been buffed – especially regarding their respective companions. And that brings joy: “This is insane, everything I wanted. So many Zane, Moze, and FL4K buffs,” expresses “TintedBlue10” excitedly.
And that’s not all: Many small issues that troubled players were improved. For example, it has been ensured that no modifiers in Mayhem mode are active at the same time that cancel each other out. Also, the bug that prevented items from being marked as junk is now gone.
Even the menus have finally been adjusted and show significantly less stuttering. “The whole menus work much better on PS4. I’m excited to play more and see all the improvements,” finds “chillinwithunicorns“.
The mood in Borderlands 3 seems to be on a high after the patch. It brings a tremendous number of improvements that address issues that have existed since the launch: “These have been top complaints from the community. That Gearbox is addressing them all is incredible. You can’t say they don’t listen,” praises amitkilo. Borderlands 3 seems to be on the right track.
