With the biggest update yet for GTA Online, a new heist has entered the game: Cayo Perico. You can even complete it solo if you want. The reward is up to over 4 million $. This makes Cayo Perico the most lucrative heist so far.
What kind of heist is this? With the massive update on December 15 for GTA V, the new heist “Cayo Perico” was introduced. It takes place on the eponymous new island and is the first heist that you can complete solo.
Heists are robberies that you typically complete in a group of up to four players. They are pure PvE activities at various stages, rewarding you with a large sum of GTA dollars at the end.
This is how much cash you can grab: In Cayo Perico, player reports suggest rewards of over 4 million GTA dollars. In our list of all heists and their rewards, Cayo Perico is therefore the most lucrative heist of all, ahead of the diamond heist in the casino (3.6 million).
However, you need to complete several tasks to achieve this. During the heist, you will find the “Madrazo Files,” for which you will receive 1.1 million $ at the end. For the secondary objectives, you will earn about 2.8 million $.
Similar to the casino heist, you can choose different approaches. Overall, this can lead to a reward between 3.8 and 4.5 million $ (via PCGamesN).

What else is in the update: In addition to the new heist the big update delivers 7 new vehicles that you can afford with your honestly stolen money. There are also some new weapons:
- the Perico Pistol
- a Military Rifle
- and the Combat Shotgun
By the way, the island Cayo Perico can only be accessed during the heist. Unfortunately, you cannot visit it in Free Roam. If you miss the secondary objectives in the heist or receive less than you planned, you can easily snag 600,000 $ in just 5 minutes to fill your funds for the new rewards.
