During E3 2019, the new Call of Duty: Modern Warfare managed to win its first award. At the Game Critics Awards, the Modern Warfare reboot was awarded for Best Online Multiplayer of the show.
What award is it about? The Game Critics Awards also take place annually during E3. Games are awarded in various categories for making the best impression at arguably the most important game fair in the world.
The upcoming Call of Duty: Modern Warfare also managed to win a significant award – specifically for its multiplayer mode. The multiplayer of Modern Warfare, which will be released on October 25, 2019, was chosen by critics as the best online multiplayer of E3 2019.
It competed against games like Gears 5, Ghost Recon Breakpoint and Wolfenstein: Youngblood.

What is so special about this award? The curious thing is – apart from some general details, essentially nothing is known about the multiplayer mode of the new Modern Warfare. There has been almost nothing seen of it.
The public has only been presented with two screenshots, which however hardly allow any conclusions about the multiplayer. The multiplayer aspect remains a great mystery for most.
According to reports, the multiplayer mode was demonstrated behind closed doors at the fair to judges of the awards and selected press representatives.
The fact that this game, Modern Warfare 2019, was subsequently awarded the best multiplayer of the games showcased at E3 2019 now gives many fans hope.
What are the Game Critics Awards? New games are traditionally presented or shown live for the first time at E3.
At this annual award event during E3, numerous media and press representatives then choose the most convincing candidates in various categories such as Best Multiplayer, Best Game of the Show, or Best Console Game.
One of the criteria for voting is that a candidate must be playable for at least 5 minutes for the jury to get an impression.
By the way, generally, confidence in the new Modern Warfare seems to be high:
