Mecha Break had thousands of players on Steam in the past few days. Some of them have been playing around in the quirky character editor.
What game is it about? Mecha Break is a multiplayer game where each player controls a mecha. These are robot-like machines that come with different equipment. You use these machines to gain the upper hand in PvEvP battles.
- In Mecha Break, there are attack, melee, sniper, recon, and support mechas.
- Some mechas can fly, while others are designed for ground combat.
Players can also customize the appearance of their machines individually. There is also a character creator for the human figure that controls the mecha. With this character creator, some players have now designed absurd characters.
In the past few days, a playtest was running, which reached a peak of 51,000 players on Steam (via SteamDB). This test ended on August 13th.
What’s up with the character editor? The character editor of Mecha Break offers numerous options to customize your figure. Almost all choices have different preset options.

Other users gave their character body proportions that look unnatural. This is especially noticeable with the head. You can actually enlarge or shrink it independently from the body. A character with a giant head quickly resembles a bobblehead:
Currently, Mecha Break does not have a release date yet. However, it is mentioned that an announcement will be made soon on Steam. Until the release, you can think of quirky characters or cool, individually designed battle machines that you can then create in Mecha Break.
