In Germany, there will soon be a house for World of Warcraft. And you can let a part of you move in there.
For many fans of World of Warcraft, the early access to housing fulfilled a long-held wish. Finally, one could own a home in the game, even let it fly and fill it with the favorite decorations. But then we all look out of our own, real window and ask ourselves: “Wouldn’t such a WoW house look great in real life?”
Okay, maybe you have never thought about that. But Blizzard has. And they want to build such a house in Germany.
What was announced? Through various social media platforms like Instagram, it was announced that there will soon be an exhibition in a special “WoW house.” However, this is not a digital plot in your MMORPG neighborhood but an actual house in Germany – yes, that terrible place called “real world.”
The interesting part is that you can immortalize yourself in it. Because the team from World of Warcraft is looking for real Warcraft artworks from the community that can be displayed in the WoW house.
What are they looking for? Blizzard describes the search as follows: “Do you have a self-painted painting of Xal’atath on the wall? Does your living room feature an epic sword from WoW that you built yourself? Or are you just crafting? Whatever it is, post your artworks with #HausofWarcraft and tag us for a chance to see them displayed in a real WoW house by January 12, 2026.”
If you are particularly creative and already have some unique pieces hanging in your home, you might want to take a photo of them to be considered. Please note that you must have created these objects yourself artistically or handcrafted – simply printing an existing artwork onto a canvas is not what is being sought.
When can the house be seen? When the WoW house will open its doors and in which German city it will be located (and for how long) has not yet been announced. This will likely be published at the earliest after all submissions have been reviewed on January 12, 2026.
