What can you decide? Since there have been many contents since the game’s release in 2007, the developers simply cannot decide which three dungeons to start with.
Instead of discussing for a long time, they allow players to vote. A poll is currently running in The Lord of the Rings Online forum featuring the dungeons of the first three regions “Ered Luin (Sindarin for Blue Mountains), the Shire, and Bree-land”.
The instances “Into the Silver Depths, Skorgrim’s Tomb, and Creepy Quarry” are currently leading in the poll. However, the poll will remain open until the end of the month.
Will only the three dungeons with the most votes receive an update? No, the developers intend to beautify all dungeons gradually. The poll is just meant to help them select the first three dungeons that will receive a facelift 18 years after their release in 2025.
The developers have also commented on other locations. Here, there are partially more complex factors to consider, which is why they will start with the dungeons from the starting areas first.
