If you miss the zombie MMO H1Z1: Just Survive, you can now dive into the early access phase of Dead Frontier 2. The new Dead Frontier 2 is similar to Just Survive and is already playable on Steam.
As a survival game, H1Z1 did not work, but as a battle royale game it did. H1Z1 is now also planned for the eSports scene. Just Survive, on the other hand, will be discontinued.

Who is the zombie game aimed at? Dead Frontier 2 aims to appeal to all players who liked H1Z1: Just Survive. Survival is mixed with PvE and PvP. You have to try to survive in the game world, find equipment and resources, and either cooperate with other players or fight against them in PvP.
The gameplay is very reminiscent of the original H1Z1.
Can this work? The online game just started its early access phase on September 5 via Steam. According to Steamcharts, about 7,000 players are playing simultaneously. The reviews on Steam are also very positive. Dead Frontier 2 seems to hit a nerve.
Whether this success can be maintained, however, remains to be seen. The game has not been available long enough for that. The success also largely depends on how the developers continue to develop Dead Frontier 2 and how they implement the feedback from fans.
