The last “Game of Thrones”-series has just ended, and the teaser for the 3rd season of House of the Dragon is already here.
Which “Game of Thrones” series is currently airing? Currently, the spin-off series A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms is airing on HBO Max. The series tells the story of Ser Duncan the Tall, Egg, and their adventures.
It has a much more humorous tone than the main series Game of Thrones. A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms takes place between the main series Game of Thrones and House of the Dragon.
The sixth and final episode of A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms has not been released yet and will not come out until February 23, 2026. While fans still want to finish watching this spin-off, the first teaser for the other spin-off series House of the Dragon has already been released.

Community still mourning another GoT character
What is shown in the teaser? So far, the teaser does not reveal too much about the plot of the 3rd season. However, what is definitely hinted at is the further escalation of the conflict between Rhaenyra Targaryen and Alicent Hightower.
Rhaenyra plans her further military moves from Dragonstone, while Alicent is mostly afraid of her dragons. Too many plotlines can’t be determined from the teaser yet; they will probably only come in the official trailer.
How is the community reacting? Overall, the comments under the teaser on YouTube seem to be positive. After the 2nd season of the “Game of Thrones” series evoked rather mixed feelings in the community (read more on IMDb), anticipation for more time in Westeros seems to have risen again.
