On November 9, 2023, the second season of the Netflix series Arcane was announced. Not much is known about the continuation of the series in the universe of LoL so far. Except that it is supposed to be really good, at least that’s what the boss says.
What does the boss say? Jeremy “Brightmoon” Lee, the Executive Producer of League of Legends, has apparently already had a look at Arcane and is fueling excitement. According to him, the upcoming second season is supposed to be “really good” – as one would expect.
“It takes time to develop the unique look for Arcane with our partners at Fortiche, but it’s going well and I believe it’s going to be really exciting,” says the LoL boss.
As a reminder, here’s the launch trailer for the first season:
Yasuo, the hero of the day?
Where does the information come from? The statement comes from an interview that a clever journalist conducted with Jeremy “Brightmoon” Lee for PCGamesN back in May 2023.
In wise foresight, she had already asked several questions about the second season of the successful series at that time. However, the good “Brightmoon” didn’t want to reveal too much.
So he sidesteps the question about the “leak” – or meme – where Yasuo appears out of nowhere to deflect Jinx’s Super Mega Death Rocket with a perfectly placed Wind Wall (via YouTube).
“I mean, that’s a huge spoiler,” says the LoL boss. “The Wind Wall is really the most powerful ability in the game, so…” That can obviously mean anything and nothing, so we will probably have to wait another year to find out if the swordsman will actually make his grand appearance in the second season of Arcane.
For those of you who can’t wait to find out how the story of Vi, Jinx, and Co. continues, we have compiled an overview with all the information we have so far about the second season. We will update it for you as soon as more information becomes available:
