In Diablo 4, there are particularly rare, unique items – the Mythic Uniques. Especially popular is the Harlequin Crown, also known as Shako. We show you how to obtain the headgear and what makes it special.
What is the Harlequin Crown? The Harlequin Crown is a headgear that many players also call “Shako.” The name “Shako” comes from the designation of the item type in Diablo 2, from where the helmet originates.
What can the Harlequin Crown do? The Mythic Unique (formerly: Uber Unique) has fixed properties and is considered the best headgear for almost any build in Diablo 4. All five classes can equip the headgear, and it grants you +4 ranks on all your skills. In addition, you receive a damage reduction of 20%.
Additionally, the headgear provides a bonus to the following stats:
- maximum health
- maximum resource
- armor
- cooldown reduction

Anyone who wants to find the coveted Mythic Uniques, especially the Harlequin Crown, needs quite a bit of luck. One player even got two Mythics in a short time, both of which can be used by any class – and a developer envies him for that.
To determine which item is better, you should activate two settings in Diablo 4:
Farming the Harlequin Crown
Where can I find the Harlequin Crown? To get the Mythic Unique to drop, you can try your luck with the bosses starting from Qual Level 1. They have a chance to drop Mythics when you defeat them, making them suitable for targeted farming of Uniques and Mythic Uniques.
Additionally, it is possible to obtain Mythics as random loot drops also outside of the bosses – but this is rare. You can try your luck with the Curiosity Merchant, in the Pit, and in the Under City of Kurast.
You can also craft Mythic Uniques yourself at the blacksmith and jeweler of your choice in Diablo 4. However, you will need “Magnificent Sparks,” gold, and in one case a bunch of runes. You can find out more about this here: Diablo 4: Crafting Magnificent Sparks – How to craft Mythic Uniques with it
