The streamer xQc was banned again in April 2021 from the largest role-playing server NoPixel of GTA V, to a separate free server where he and other rogues can hang out. Now he is in discussions with the server admins about getting unbanned on the main server and wants to leave his evil rogue character behind. At least for now.
This is the situation:
- The Twitch streamer Félix “xQc” Lengyel is the most successful Twitch streamer in the world in 2021, who enjoys role-playing in GTA V. On the famous server “NoPixel”, where other big streamers also play, he plays a rogue. He behaves so badly there that he gets banned from the server repeatedly: He cheats, insults people, and does not follow the rules
- xQc has likely been banned from the server half a dozen times already but keeps returning. The last time it seemed that the ban was permanent. The owner of the server, Koli, created a “sister server” for xQc and other rogues where they can let loose.
- In a stream, xQc explained that his ban from the actual NoPixel server may not be as permanent as initially believed.
xQc talks to admins about unbanning
What the streamer said: In his stream from June 26, xQc mentioned that he is currently in talks with the server admins of NoPixel about his unbanning from the main server, from which he was kicked in April. The ban seemed final at the time, especially since the server owner Koli had created a separate sister server for the streamer and other troublemakers.
xQc mentioned in his stream that he wants to put his criminal character Jean Paul on hold if he gets unbanned in GTA V. With Jean Paul, xQc has often gotten into trouble in the past. For example, he cheated to escape from prison by bringing a gun into the cell. This action was also regarded as poor sportsmanship in the roleplaying community.
However, xQc wants to leave that behind now. Instead, he wants to play his second character, Pierre Paul, who is an in-game police officer. The criminal Jean Paul will be left on the other server, where he, according to the story, “has traveled to an island and will stay there for now.”
This idea was also suggested by the popular streamer Summit1g, who is also active on the NoPixel server. In a stream, he said that xQc should rather play his police character. Summit believes that the troublemaker can actually change and has a lot of fun with role-playing.
This is how it has been so far: However, it is questionable whether xQc will actually follow through with his intention to abide by the rules. The streamer is generally regarded as a troublemaker and poor loser who cannot control his temper, both within the role-playing of GTA V and in other games.
When xQc joined a streamer server in Rust in December 2020, the shooter chef shroud immediately suspected that peace would be over and was proven right.
He has already been banned from the GTA V server NoPixel for:
- Cheating
- Insults
- Inciting his viewers against other streamers
In April 2021, he had already tried to behave and also urged his viewers to be kind. He was banned from NoPixel less than 5 days later. The chances that xQc will follow the rules of the server with his police character are therefore rather slim.
