The people in charge of Capcom have revealed at what time you can play the digital version of Dragon’s Dogma 2 on Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox on March 22, 2024.
When does Dragon’s Dogma 2 come out? The single-player role-playing game from Capcom is set to release on March 22, 2024. But what time can you start the digital versions of Dragon’s Dogma 2 for the first time?
That’s exactly what the people in charge of Capcom have revealed via X. Here are the times for the German time zone:
- On Steam, it will begin on March 22, 2024, at 01:00.
- On PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series, you can start on the night from Thursday to Friday at 00:00.
So you can start Dragon’s Dogma 2 one hour earlier on consoles.
This trailer wonderfully prepares you for the launch of Dragon’s Dogma 2:
Did some players already get to play Dragon’s Dogma 2? That’s true. We reported about the streamer “JustIchor”, who was able to grab the physical version of the game at Walmart a few days ago and thus show early gameplay (which quickly went offline).
Anyone who has purchased the digital version for one of the consoles should, by the way, be able to start the pre-download on March 20, 2024. A picture from hornygrapeeater on Reddit shows what to expect: a smooth 64.391 GB to be downloaded.
Is it worth starting on the night? Dragon’s Dogma 2 is a pure single-player experience that you can enjoy at your own pace. There are no other players competing with you for quest goals, group content that you absolutely need teammates for, or an endgame that you might want to reach as quickly as possible.
In short: Enjoy Dragon’s Dogma 2 at your own gaming pace. However, until the launch, you can already think about which class or career path you want to try at the start.
