The German WoW event on Twitch is getting its own addon, and one of the organizers explains what it can do

The Twitch event in Hardcore-WoW is becoming more concrete. Now a streamer reveals that there will be a dedicated addon and what it can do.

What event is it about? Preparations are currently underway for the big Twitch event in Hardcore-WoW, which is supposed to take place in the style of the OnlyFangs guild from the USA. More than 200 streamers are supposed to be involved, who want to start the event together in a guild.

Now the streamer Metashi12, who is organizing the event with Twitch streamers Papaplatte and HandOfBlood, reveals that there will be a dedicated addon for the event. He also shares what it can do.

Dedicated addon for strict rules

What can the addon do? The addon created specifically for the event is based on the idea of the Guild-Found addon. The main focus is on preventing participants from trading with players who are not part of the project.

Thus, the addon itself directly prevents players from using the auction house to buy equipment and other items. Additionally, direct trading with non-guild members is also made impossible. Another feature that the addon blocks is receiving and sending in-game messages with the mail from and to non-guild members.

But besides the features of the typical Guild-Found addon, the minds behind the Twitch event have added another function. According to the streamer’s video on YouTube, the addon is supposed to record in the guild note in the game how many times the streamer has died in the project and had to start over with a new character.

When does it start? The Twitch event starts on December 27, 2025, on all Twitch channels and will run for at least until January 10, 2026. In these two weeks, it will not only be about leveling the characters but also mastering certain challenges such as specific raids. However, whether that will work well remains to be seen.
