Twitch star Zack, known as “Asmongold,” embodies the stereotype of the typical gamer. He grew up with the MMORPG WoW. The idea that he could have a girlfriend despite everything is apparently too much for some fans.
This is Asmongold:
- With over 3 million followers on Twitch, he is the largest streamer in the MMORPG field.
- For many, he is the epitome of the typical WoW nerd: long-haired, questionable hygiene, and a room full of junk food trash.
- He likes to play with this image, he didn’t even leave the house to accept an award.
- It was all the more incomprehensible for many his relationship with the streamer and influencer Izzy, who calls herself Pink Sparkles online and has an image that leans more towards Barbie.
- A photo that Asmongold posted on Twitter sparked the rumor mill, and some fans are less than pleased.

Strange T-Shirt Causes Stir on Twitter
This is the T-shirt in question: On August 21, Asmongold posted a photo on Twitter. In the picture, he is wearing a T-shirt depicting him with his ex-girlfriend. The pose of the two is a reference to a scene in the film Titanic.
Asmongold stated that he received the shirt as a gift from Izzy and should have expected something like this.
This is how the T-shirt is received: Most fans seem to categorize the quirky gift somewhere between funny and sweet. Some say that the relationship was good for Asmongold because Izzy brought him out of his comfort zone and both could grow as individuals.
They even wished for a love comeback for both. The relationship between Asmongold and Izzy ended in 2019, apparently because both were struggling with personal issues and Izzy felt uncomfortable in Asmongold’s home state of Texas.
Others joke they want to see the T-shirt in the next 30 streams – a reference to Asmongold’s habit of seemingly wearing the same shirt for several weeks.
Fan Urges Asmongold Not to Return to Izzy
This is what the fan was concerned about: A fan found the photo not funny at all. He urged Asmongold not to get back together with his ex-girlfriend. The reason: His fans are all lonely too.
Don’t go back to her, please Asmon, most in the chat and I are single. At least we can identify with that 100%. The rest is debatable.

While most could only shake their heads at the comment, another fan agreed. He wanted Asmongold to be as unhappy and lonely as he was.
Again, others suspect a conspiracy. They believe that there was never a breakup. Asmongold and Izzy may have continued their relationship in secret.
