In The Elder Scrolls Online, dataminers have found descriptions of the 2250 items that players can steal in TESO. They have also discovered 1150 ways in which guards ask thieves about their punishment.
The Update 6 is on the test server and is scheduled to go live next week. Clever players have now found the 2250 items that players can steal, at least the text file in English for them. Time and again, one can sense the mischief that must have been watching the creators at Zenimax, their eye and ear for detail: a lifelike doll for wood elf children turns out to be a stuffed monkey; a net woven from goat hair that can catch insects might be stolen, or even the quest journal of another could fall into the hands of the thief.
And of course – how could it be otherwise – there’s a lot of pornography… these Khajiit are impossible. Here is the full list.
A second document has also been found. It contains the more than 1150 ways that guards ask caught players about the “Bounty” on their heads. This can happen authoritatively (“Silence, you worthless cur! Give me the money, and I can attend to more important tasks!”), somewhat buddy-like (“Hey, don’t tell anyone that I’m drinking on duty. Just give me the money and be on your way.”), normally, or even quite bizarrely. And yes, there’s a little knee gag in there too: “Hey, don’t even think about running away. My knees aren’t what they used to be.” If you’d like to see the line that prompts you to pay your fine: This way.
