In Tom Clancy’s The Division the update 1.2 is now available for agents. However, the ISAC operation is still delayed.
In today’s State of the Game, the developers talked about the latest information they wanted to share with the agents before update 1.2. They addressed some uncertainties in the patch notes and explained why the ISAC operation, the weekly mission, is still missing.
Operation ISAC starts on Thursdays
From now on, the watch on the wrists of our agents will receive ISAC transmissions every Thursday. This means that today and tomorrow, we cannot fulfill new weekly tasks for this mission. However, the rewards are expected to be more lucrative: so far, there were only 30 Phoenix Credits for completing 4 tasks.
The “Weekly Reset” for all other weekly rewards will still take place on Tuesdays. The scheduling change only affects the ISAC operation. On Thursday, Ubisoft will also release a new video for it, in which the story of Simon Keyes will continue.
Supplementary information and explanations for patch notes 1.2
Additionally, the community developers from Massive, Hamish Bode and Yannick Banchereau, addressed some (missing) patch notes that are being discussed in the community:
- Clear Sky: The raid will only be playable in hard mode today. The Challenge Mode will be unlocked on Tuesday in a week. Until then, agents can familiarize themselves with the Incursion, devise strategies, and thoroughly test Clear Sky. However, players, according to the developers, will need to approach the raid differently in Challenge Mode.
- Weapon balance: There are no weapon balance changes coming in update 1.2. These will take place at a later time. However, with the new gear sets, they want to focus more on other weapon categories.
- Final Measure: In the patch notes for the new gear set “Final Measure”, it is currently stated that the buff is activated as soon as a grenade is thrown. However, it is necessary to deal damage to enemies with the grenades. Simply throwing a grenade is not enough.
- Call of the Watch: The patch notes still lack the note that a bug with the “Call of the Watch” set has been fixed.

- “Showstopper”: The named shotgun “Showstopper” cannot be obtained in the game. Although it appears in the conflict trailer, it had to be removed from the game. It currently does not function as intended by Massive. “Actually,” it was supposed to be in the game with update 1.2. However, there should also be another new shotgun in The Division.
- Phoenix Credits: From now on, agents can carry 2000 Phoenix Credits. However, the blueprints and items are not supposed to become more expensive. Prices will remain roughly the same as before. Generally, there will be only a few new blueprints with “Conflict”.
- Junk collecting will not be changed in this patch.
“And much more” means in the patch notes that the quality of the player experience has been improved. However, this is all quite complicated and technical, which is why these changes have not been detailed. According to Hamish, this includes “the boring stuff”.
