In The Division, the most common places to die in Survival mode are known.
Since November 22, agents can play the Survival mode in The Division on Xbox One and PC. PS4 users have to wait until December 20. In this mode, you must survive against the cold, hunger and thirst, an infection, and countless enemies – in a PvP session also against other agents.
There are many ways to bite the dust here. Massive has now released graphics showing where this happens most frequently.
The most deaths happen at the extraction point in DZ02 – Why?
The first image marks the places where agents die particularly often in Survival with red crosses:
It can be seen that landmarks, helicopter crash sites, and extraction points are areas where many players go down. This is not too much of a surprise, as enemy units tend to cluster in these areas.
The extraction point in DZ02, however, has unfortunately become the grave of extremely many agents. This is the extraction point on the roof. We have already reported that this point is actually particularly suitable for escaping the Dark Zone. Nevertheless: Here, the most die in Survival. Why?
This is not the “most dangerous” extraction point, but the most popular one. Many agents come here – which means that many make it out alive, but also many die.
In pure PvP mode, the map with the most death locations looks very different:
Here, deaths are likely to be distributed better across the map. In the Dark Zone, there is no “Hot Spot” at all. Apparently, the southeast, especially at the helicopter crash site, is highly contested.
Note: These are official figures directly from Massive.
