Recently, the Year 1 Pass for The Division 2 can be pre-ordered separately in the US Gamestop store. Fans are wondering what content this pass will bring.
This is the cost of the Year 1 Pass individually: A fan shows on Reddit that the Year 1 Pass can now be pre-ordered on the US Gamestop site. The price for Xbox One and PS4 is $39.99. No further details are shown, and there is no option for PC yet. Gamestop Germany has not yet included the pass in its offerings.
The speculation from fans is not unfounded given this price; some are confused. After all, all DLC expansions in the first year are supposed to be free. So why is there such an expensive Year 1 Pass? And what could be inside?

For The Division 1, there are seven outfit bundles that can be purchased for real money. Prices for these range from 4.99 to 14.99 Euros in the PSN store. If all of these packs were bought, it would surely exceed 40 Euros. Garn_cz proposes:
If I were Ubisoft, I would say: Special animations + 5 emotes + 5 weapon skins + 5 colors + 5 unique patches + 5 chains + supply drops once a week, and you have your grand 40 Euro content.
Most speculations are going in a similar direction. However, players hope that these will be purely cosmetic contents. No one wants the pass holders to have significant advantages over other players. Fans were already upset back then that players had to pay to gain early access to the DLCs.
However, there are also players who have no problem buying the Year 1 Pass. They trust the Division developer Massive and believe that the money is well invested.
