Today Season 1 has started for The Division 2. However, right at the beginning of the season, there will be maintenance, including downtime. The servers will be offline for several hours. Read here all about today’s process, the patch notes, and the first season.
Update 12:38 PM: The maintenance work seems to be finished; the servers are running again – at least on PS4. The patch notes have also been updated with an additional point (see below).
What is Season 1 about? In its second year, The Division 2 focuses on seasons to ensure a better flow of content. They are designed to regularly supply the game with new content, advance the story after Warlords of New York, and expand the endgame.
And today, on March 10, Season 1 has already begun for all Warlords owners at 8:00 AM German time. Here we have gathered the most important information for you:

By the way, without the Warlords expansion, you cannot participate in the seasons, missing out on this and many other features.
All about the maintenance and downtime on March 10
The process today – These times are important:
- The maintenance begins at 9:30 AM German time
- Then the three-hour downtime also begins. The servers go offline, you cannot play
- The planned end of maintenance is indicated for 12:30. Then the servers should be online again and you can continue your seasonal journey or your adventure in Washington

What changes with today’s maintenance? The patch notes: The patch notes are already available, but this time they are rather manageable:
- A problem has been solved that prevented the plans for the new gear sets from being granted as control point rewards.
- A problem has been fixed that caused the restoration drone stock not to heal with every consumed charge.
Whether any further adjustments will make it into the game is currently unknown.
